General

While personal videos are intended for individuals (your mother, spouse or best friend, for example), promotional videos are booked by companies or brands with the intention of promoting a business, product or service. Personal videos are in no way related to commercial activity, but promotional videos are used for endorsements and brand association. These two request types are usually priced differently, and it’s important to note that not all talent are willing to accept promotional orders. On the profile pages of those that do offer both options, you’ll be given the chance to select the one that applies to you. If you are a business (big or small) that would like to receive a shout-out from talent for commercial gain, you MUST select the “promotional video” booking option. Talent reserve the right to decline requests that are promotional in nature if they’re incorrectly booked as personal videos.

myFanPark talent are given up to 7 days to record your video message, so remember to plan in advance and order ahead of time if you need it by a specific date. Sometimes, talent will fulfil orders in record time; sometimes, it’ll take them a little longer. It all depends on their schedule and availability at the time.

All talent reserve the right to either accept or decline video requests. If your order is declined, you’ll be notified via email. We’ll make every effort to get your video to you within 7 days, but ultimately, it’s up to the talent to decide if, when, where and how they record it. We therefore cannot guarantee timings or provide you with updates on when you can expect to receive your message.

Your order may be declined for several different reasons: a) if the talent is unable to record your message in time, b) if they deem your request to be inappropriate, c) if the nature of your request is just not appealing to them, d) if the talent can’t record your video due to technical difficulties, or e) if you’ve requested a commercial shout-out for a brand or company, but haven’t put in a promotional request (see more about promotional video requests under the relevant FAQ section).

If your video is unfortunately not recorded within 7 days, you’ll be given the option to a) keep your order active and in the booking queue for 3 more days, b) keep your order active and in the booking queue for 7 more days, or c) cancel your order. If you choose to cancel, we’ll refund you in full and your order will be removed from the booking queue.

Booking a video is super simple! All you have to do is browse for your favourite famous figure, head to their profile and tap the button to book, complete an order form, and then pay using a credit or debit card. Once your payment has been processed, your order will be sent to the selected talent, and they’ll then have 7 days to record your message. If you’re booking a commercial video, remember to use the filter to search for talent that offer this option, and then tap the “promotional video” button on their profile.

No, unfortunately changes can’t be made after you’ve placed your order. You’ll be given an opportunity to edit your request before you check out, so it’s important you make sure all details are correct at this stage.

Once you’ve entered your payment details, we’ll put an authorisation hold on your credit or debit card until your order is fulfilled. Your card will be charged as soon as your video has been recorded and sent to you. If your order is declined or if it’s not fulfilled within 7 days and you choose to cancel it, the authorisation will be released and the hold will be removed from your card within up to 7 days.

As soon as the talent has worked their magic and recorded your message, we’ll send you a link via both WhatsApp and email, which you can follow to view and download your video.

Every video ordered via our platform will carry the myFanPark watermark, and unfortunately this cannot be removed.

It’s important to remember that your video won’t be scripted or directed. Talent record videos on their own phones, in their own words, and in their own unique way. That said, if the talent makes a factual mistake (if they get the age wrong in a birthday message, or address the message to the wrong person, for example), you can contact us to log the error and request a retake. If we confirm that the talent did, indeed, slip up, your order (and a correction note) will be sent back to them and prioritised for a re-do.

Nope. You aren’t allowed to edit recorded videos (personal or promotional). We want to make sure that nothing is taken out of context, so you may only share unedited versions of the video.

Personal Video

Personal videos are personalised shout-outs from the famous and influential that are meant for individuals – family members, friends, colleagues and the like. myFanPark provides a simple way to order and pay for these video messages, which can be recorded by any of the talent listed on our platform. These videos are intended for personal use and may not be used for commercial gain or sponsorships, unless you’ve obtained approval from the talent in question in writing. Some of our talent are also willing to do promotional videos for companies and brands that would like to associate themselves with a particular personality. These requests are priced differently based on talent’s promotional rates (find out more about promotional requests under the relevant FAQ section).

All talent listed on the myFanPark platform determine their own per-video rate, which can be seen on their website profiles. They also reserve the right to change their rate at any point in time. Don’t worry, though – if you order and pay for a video at a specific rate, and the talent then increases their fee, you’ll still be charged the initial amount.

The video will be sent to you – the person who placed the order. You can then share it with the person you ordered it for in your own capacity, when the time is right.

You are free to share the video with all your friends and family members, and you’re welcome to post it on your personal social media accounts too.

Promotional Video

Businesses and brands can book a promotional video message via myFanPark if they want to associate themselves with a particular famous face for marketing purposes. These videos still take the form of a personalised shout-out from our talent, but the focus is on promoting a company, product or service. If you’d like to put in a promotional order, you can search the myFanPark website using the relevant filter to see a list of talent who have opted in to accept bookings from businesses.

All talent listed on the myFanPark platform determine their own promotional video rate, which usually differs from their personal video rate. You’ll be able to view prices on each talent’s website profile. Talent also reserve the right to change their promotional rate at any point in time. Don’t worry, though – if you order a video at a specific rate, and the talent then increases their fee, you’ll still be charged the initial amount.

No. The beauty of these videos is that they’re very authentic – recorded by the talent in their own environment, in their own style, and in their own words. You will, of course, need to give the talent context regarding your request – and tell them what the video should be about – when you fill out the booking form, but the final product will not be scripted or directed. company, product or service. A promotional video can be used for three months from the date you receive it. Once three months have passed, the rights to the video will automatically expire (unless otherwise agreed with the talent in writing).

You may use a promotional video to promote your business, brand, product or service on your company’s website and on its official social media pages. The video may not be used in advertising campaigns or in online, broadcasted or printed media, and it may not be edited from its original format to include any other messaging or branding (unless otherwise agreed with the talent in writing).

Yes, indeed. All myFanPark videos – both personal and promotional – carry our watermark.
